10X

StockX’s 10-year anniversary: an immersive, multi-day activation in Detroit timed with the city’s annual 313 Day. Rooted in StockX’s hometown, the experience was conceived as a large-scale, public-facing celebration of the community that helped define the brand’s first decade.

At the core was an experiential retail environment, one of StockX’s first live shopping moments in Detroit, designed to merge commerce, storytelling, and cultural programming. The space featured two freestanding structures that organized circulation, built from an aluminum panel system that consolidated display shelving, storage, and back-of-house functions. Integrated illuminated panels created diffuse lighting and guided attention throughout, while a large-scale screen anchored the rear of the space for panels, events, and live programming. Additional embedded displays supported brand storytelling and dynamic content across the environment.

The activation extended beyond retail into a full program of panels and a kickoff event that brought together the broader Detroit community. A custom 10-year graphic system, including “10X” logos and wordmarks, was developed to signal the significance of the moment and distinguish it within the broader StockX brand. Together, the work established a new standard for StockX’s physical presence, defining materiality, spatial language, and experiential guidelines as the company enters its next decade.
