2021 StockX Rebrand

After a rapid 5 years of global growth, StockX was in need of a new brand identity that honored the past, speaks to who StockX is today, and highlights the bright future ahead.

The new logo represents a confident step towards becoming a world-class brand. The association with the stock market (and the prominent arrow) had served the brand well, but major steps forward often require leaving something behind. The brand is no longer dependent upon a single audience, product category, or idea. This logo positions us squarely at the epicenter of fashion and tech. It symbolizes a more inclusive, more established, and more confident StockX.

The new logo has several defining features:

First are the 'notches' near the logo's axis. This provides both visual interest and dimensionality to the "X," they also honor the previous logo.

The logo speaks to StockX as a more welcoming brand. Without the prominent arrow in the top right corner, the "X" is balanced. When viewing the negative space at the left and right sides of the "X," you'll find two arrows pointing towards the center, representing buyers and sellers coming together on a level playing field.

A wider view of the logo suggests an abstract percentage sign, a nod to the stock market-inspired mechanics.

Finally, as a part of the new brand identity, we've updated our green to a deeper, richer shade that elevates the brand, along with new tagline: Access the Now.

The new StockX logo is sturdy enough to stand alongside other iconic brands. It honors the StockX journey. And, more importantly, it fortifies StockX for the future.
